| Hello, I'm Mallory Robinson, the creator of Macqueline Designs and Gallory's Kidz. I have been sewing since Home Economics class in high school. My grandfather was a tailor in New York City. I remember him making a suit for me, my mother and my grandmother every year for Passover. So the passion for sewing is in my blood. I have been sewing and selling my wares since high school. I started making fringed vests and suede fringed purses back in the day. When my sons were young, I started Gallory's Kidz, my line of flannel baby blankets and I sold 100's of them. They were referred to locally as "My babies favorite blanket". Well, the kids grew up and my best girlfriend and I started Macqueline Designs Purses and Tote bags.Just at the time when these were just coming back in style.We sold many, many of them. Now my girlfriend fell in love and I'm doing this on my own and I love it. The purses and tote bags are all handmade and mainly one of a kind. I hand pick each fabric and trim and gladly would do custom orders. My desire now is to have a successful online business of my creations. I'd like to thank my husband and kids for putting up and dealing with all the fabric scraps, pins, beads, trims and the numerous storage flippys. |
